  • @lotrielini: If you read the entire description, you'll see it mentions that this is not the CURRENT genie, as he has been replaced several times since. Each actor playing Genie has a different style.

  • Yes, I know, ITS IN THE DESCRIPTION that this is NOT the current genie. However, because of the fact the shows are usually only Wednesday-Sunday, the same characters usually remain.

  • i think your missing the point. the role of the genie in this show is cast on how well the actor can improv, and the whole point is including as many modern references as possible. it has very little to do with the writers.

besides the disney film itself was referencing every pop culture icon of the time, from schwarzenegger to jack nicholson.

  • Why would they replace him. He does Genie so well!!! lmao Snap Girl no u didn't.

  • Funny that some people say, Aladdin looks asian... Dont you know, that the original Aladdin-Storys players in China? ;-)

  • This guy is a Genie-us!

  • @Trulula 2: where'd u find out that it was comin to broadway? What website?

  • The Genie's name is Dylan. I talked to him a few times backstage. I was an usher for this show from 2006-2008. The Genie in the 2003 opening of the musical was Cedric Yarbrough, who left the show for an acting gig on comedy central's Reno 911.

  • @ttztotdca50 Actually that Genie will be in the cast when it is planned to go to broadway within the next year.

  • wait, he doesnt do it anymore? i love that guy!!!!

  • this was always my favorite genie. :) I was there for this exact show, in fact!!!

"SNAP girl, no you di-in't." XD LOL!

It's such a shame they're not playing this show anymore come next year... they already have ENOUGH toy story promotion in the park, do they really need a musical??

  • @seahorseprmj i think they constantly add new jokes to the set to keep in up to date, which is brilliant

  • @HeadbangingGlory yeah he did that same thing when i went there. "al, you should've put a ring on it"!!! hahaha ^_^ wow that guy can really crack some funny jokes.

  • The other day at our show the genie was going over the rules and he says, 'You can't wish for more wishes, it didn't work for the Colts, it won't work for you!"
