The art, basic plot and music was pretty much the only thing good about this game. Other than that, it did drive you %#in bonkers trying to beat it.

I was scared playing this game by myself when I was like 6.

in the (never to be finished) sequel for Dreamcast you were going to play Chakan as he traveled from galaxy to galaxy ridding particular planets of the worst evil. what a shame AndNow literally abandoned the project with absolutely no message to fans. for more information you can google "sega 16 forgotten franchise"

I beat the secret boss on the first try .. that was just dumb luck. I pressed all the buttons so i wouldnt die. LOL

This was the first genesis game I ever played as a kid, I was so used to games like Mario,Wonderboy,Alex the Kid etc this seemed out of my league with its dark atmosphere, creepy sound effects and music, mature storyline, not to mention the difficulty! yet my friends and I still enjoyed playing, especially at night.

Wow, that's sad--I would love to have seen a Chakan game on the Dreamcast. Thanks for letting me know about that.

Really? They honestly never finished the Good Ending?
I figured, like Death said, he's not done with exterminating evil,
so there really couldn't be an ending,
but it just boggles my mind if there may have been
an ending after beating Death (final boss)

Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I don't think anyone would have ever known about the missing ending if it wasn't for emulators and save states. The video I watched, that's how the guy beat the "secret boss". Hit, save, hit, save, die, load.

It's still one of my favorite Genesis games of all time. The art design of the game was so outstanding.
