Ang Lee is a fine director and I'm sure the long cut of this movie will be worth a watch. I also suspect the film will be more interesting than this fairly stock trailer with one of the dull Yank trailer voice guys intoning over the top. Criterion should have cut their own trailer for it (taken from the new transfer, it would have probably looked better than the faded look of this one).

All that noted it's a shit to hear that Crit don't have any Greenaway coming out, like COOK THE THIEF.
