My mother passed away 10 days after my 14th birthday from heart failure caused by an unknown illness. At the time of her death my mother's and my relationship was quite rocky (both our faults). I have always regretted spending that last year of her life in such turmoil, instead of taking advantage of what time she had left.
This November will mark her 10th anniversary in Heaven and it should be getting easy for me, but as I get older and approach great milstones in my life, I find myself saying, "I want my mommy." much more than I did when I was younger.
Anyway, I wanted to express how much I still love and miss her everyday and I wanted to share my tribute with the world.

I'm going to make one, too. With the same song. It's just the perfect one to describe everything I'm feeling. I can't believe a song could be so on point. I cannot listen to this song the same the same way again.
