Hermione and Krum - You Found Me

Though I ship Hermione and Ron in canon and Hermione and Draco in fanon, I could not not appreciate the evolving relationship between the smart Gryffindor and the world famous Quidditch player as it was portrayed in the film version of Goblet of Fire. With this video I want to show how Krum's attraction toward her gave Hermione self-confidence and a basis for questioning her "relationship" with Ron.

I think they represented the Viktor/Hermione thing as well as they could in the movie, what with time constraints and all - but you're right - it was never as explored as it was in the book. Although I do think that Viktor cared much more for Hermione, than she did for him. Poor Viktor, he was just a Bulgarian in love!! ;)p

I always thought their relationship should have continued for longer! I mean I love how it developed in Goblet of Fire but I wish Viktor could have visited in other books or something instead of the having that stupid penpal relationship with her!

MY only question is....why would she pick Ron when she could have Viktor? Not only is Viktor about ten thousand times more attractive than Ron (which is the shallow reason haha) but I also think he's a better match. As Hermione says in movie #7, she's ALWAYS mad at Ron....sorry Rowling, I just can't buy that one.
