Bare Hands' Day of the Dead Festival is a one-day celebration honoring the Hispanic, primarily Mexican, celebration known as Dia de los Muertos (Day of Remembrance for the Dead). The annual commemoration at Bare Hands combines community art installation and procession with remembrance, creativity, performance, music and food to highlight rich cultural tradition yielding an exquisite downtown arts and cultural event.
