@JackHauss Well.. i have to admid that i´m much younger than you and i sadly couln´t live in the fifties. But if i compare "The Lords of flatbush" with another Movie created in the fifties just like "High School Caesar" then i´m not that sure if "The Lords of flatbush "is realy that "Realistic" like you say. Tell me: did youth realy wear that tight jeans in the fifties? I´m Sorry if i´m sounding a bit arrogant, but i just like to compare details.

This is weard? I'm 52, I love Stallone & Henry Winkler "The Fonze" Never saw Lord's of Flatbush or even knew about it? Have that movie on order now to watch. OMG I was 14 in 72!

Stalone really is brilliant. He kind of reminds me of Ed Norton from the Honeymooners in the lords of >>> He is so under rated by most.

Stallone is great! When you can get him one on one he is us (BEING THE COMMEN MAN) I loved him in DEATH RACE 2000 and of course ROCKY-NIGHT HAWKS-FIRST BLOOD...These are his Best and he knows it....Oh! Of course L.O.F.B. (love the wedding ring pawn shop scene) Sly thanks man for the movies I did not mention. My wife and I love yaz (OSCAR was funny)

The movie starts off pretty well, but as it goes on, it runs out of steam...but, it's almost has a cult-like status...Sly getting up there in age, but still pretty fit...

L.O.F is ok but it's caught ackwardly between realism and nostalgia and never finds the right tone.
The Wanderers was far more consistent overall.
