KISS destroying Largo in 1977!

KISS in their prime in 1977 during the Love Gun tour... The main reason why this show was professionally videotaped is because footage of the show was going to be used for The American Music Awards. Portions of Shout It Out Loud and Rock And Roll All Nite aired on January 16, 1978 to be used on The American Music Awards...

Location: Capital Centre..
Opening Act: Piper
Capacity: 18.000
Attendance: 18.000

  • i love this song woooooooooo

  • ACE is A ROCK GOD on Strings to this day !

  • To me ace and paul hold the most musicianship from the band ace being the most talented.

  • @GlitterMike bottomline is KISS are great musicians. Yes, they wore the warpaint and used theatrics, but their are many musicians that respect KISS their legends. Also, Paul Stanley is amazing! He performed the lead role in Phantom of the Opera. Understand, if you know anything about music that performing and singing opera for a rock and roll musician is a great accomplishment.

  • @GlitterMike how strong they have musically influenced many bands. Also, Kiss has variety to their music as well. Have you ever listened to Going Blind, Hard Luck Woman, and Beth? They are very good ballads. Did you know that the country singer Garth Brooks did his version of Hard Luck Woman. Kiss has therefore musically influenced more genres of music that you realize- country, heavy metal, rock and roll. Lenny Kravitz even did his own version of Deuce.

  • @GlitterMike , I respect your opinion;however, most honestly Kiss are great musicians. Ladies Room is not one of their best songs. Off their first album, Black Diamond, Strutter, Deuce, and 100,000 years are masterpieces. In fact, Black Diamond was performed by a Japanese Orchestra in the 2000's. Also, GlitterMike, Detroit Rock City is one of the greatest heavy metal songs of all time! In fact, when a great heavy metal band (METALLICA) closed Cobalt Hall with this Kiss classic, it shows you...

  • Looking back, KISS was not a great band musically, but they sure were a lot of fun:) And "Christine Sixteen" is Gene's most brilliant moment as a songwriter ever...a glammy, almost bubblegum song about statutory rape.

  • This is KISS at their peak during the world domination tour years of 1977-1978...no one put on a better show at this time.
