@8phelo8 Hi 8, I think it's a matter of taste about summertime. Many jazz artists have done that song. I think it's been played so much that it's refreshing to hear a new take on it. Seems that is what Melody does best, I love her fresh interpretations. Regards.

I love Melody Gardot, and love Gershwin Bros, but I have to say this version of "Summertime" sucks, trying to take this classic to the new sounds of Jazz is not a good idea... "Fever" sounds better, way cool!! Thank you for posting!!!
