This took me 3 days! And weeks gathering the episodes!
This is a tribute to one of my favorite childhood villains- Dolf (the Crow). He is from the Dutch/Japan anime "Alfed J. Kwak" based upon Herman Van Veen stories for children.I think this was too mature for children. The show presented such problems like: ecology, rascism, fascism, war and so on. It was about the life of a single duck-Alfred.
Info on Dolf: He was the son of a crow and...a blackbird! Thats why he had a yellow beak but he pasted it black out of shame for his genes (so dont tell anyone!).Since childhood he made fun of Alfred who was raised by a mole cause his whole family died.He was a school bully. When he was a teenager he became more serious and usually roamed the night streets looking for some action or valuable things to steal.Cause of his greed and skills he became a crook and sometimes even for hire (like for the dubious mayor of Waterland K.Rokodile).Dolf encoutered Alfred on multiple occasions in his life.Almost always it endend in a fight. Dolf went abroad for a couple of years and came back to Waterland with plans to overthrow the king (succesfull) and becoming the fascist leader of the new ruling group-The National Crow Party! But his plans where thwarted. After that Dolf tried to get back to power many times.Once he even campaigned for the first president of Waterland. He lost and had to fled the country becaouse of his evil deeds brought to daylight.Dolf became a wanted criminal and eventually was brought to justice by Alfred of course. On his last attempt he escaped from jail seeking revenge. He tried to kill Alfred and his girlfriend but that didint go also.He was recaptured by the police.Alas thats where the story ends.
A lot of the video is made in Sepia Tone effect so its supposed to look like memories. Also one may get the idea that Alfred is the baddie here. That is ok becaouse these are Dolf's memories and his angle on the case.
I think the music fits the video.Alfred and Dolf were friends...friends that had their difficulties...friends who became personal enemies.Sometimes the anime showed them as rivals and sometimes as buddies although Dolf always retained his rotten personality. And i dont think Alfred ever hated Dolf.Maybe at the end but he probably could find it in him to quickly forgive Dolf.I think he even blamed himself for how some things didint work out between them.
OK enought talking. Its just that for now this is my masterpiece so i had to yap about it.Most folks wont probably know what this is about but i hope they will like it anyway :) cause I enjoyed making it!
Have fun^^
That was freaking great video! I've recently re-fallen in love to Alfred J. Kwak and especially Dolf. Can you tell me from what episode the clips of Alfred chasing Dolf who is carrying a bag are from?

There was that episode near the end of season 2. I dont remember the title and its probably diffrent in each language version but it was about a magical pot of gold that was found in a village in the rain forests. If it was taken from its holding place it would devour all the colors in the world.

Good video. One question:
I've seen a picture of Dolf in NS-uniform on google. When does he don that in the series? I had assumed that he would wear it during the Fascist Crow National Party - Arc. But it seems that he wore a napoleon-like costume then. So when does he wear that Nazi-suit if at all?

Dolf has the largest collection of various outfits in the show. Though I think I now what you mean I never saw him in it on screen, im sure of that. Like you said he wore a Napoleon costume during the National Crow Party and a regular green suit at the before and after match. Im guessing it was in a project but was cancelled as being too direct.
