This is me playing the way I never play.
I used a Zoom effect (heaven knows the model) while recording.
I normaly use a little reverb/echo and distortion from my amp. I mainly love playing rockabilly, 60's and 70's. So why on earth I came up with this piece I don't know....:) I wrote it myself but never finished the song.
I played the bass and drum parts too. Well, I created the drum patterns with the Alesis SR-16. I'm not a good drummer in real life:P
This is not the way a Les Paul should sound to me. It could be any guitar with all the effect to it.
I thought it would be fun to hear...

  • this is a fucking AWESOME guitar I have the exact same one except mines a 2005

  • @chrismortloch92 mine will need a fret job i'm afraid within 5 or 6 years.

Look at the binding of the neck. Each fret has a little binding-upset at the frets sides. That must be a pain job to remove without beaking the binding.

  • These Classics look like the SLASH VOS model !

  • Those frets and bridge and tuner part are screaming for a good polish :)

  • Are those gold fretmarkers or silver I can't tell

  • 4 to 5 hundred I mean

  • 4-500 for a good fret job bro

  • @Patsik Yea iv got a 89 les paul classic, and mine needs to be refreted now, i know who to take it to but i dont want to give them my baby, or my 300 dollars.

  • @Patsik my gibson sg standard has the same with the binding!

  • @sndgarden I know what you mean. It's not too clear..

  • @sndgarden snap... my bad, I just had the impression that on the trussrod cover is written something else.

  • @ThePanteraTribute I don't "like" Slash haha...I'm a Setzer fan. But as a Gibson freak I had to own a Les Paul. And I love mine. I'm used to the weight. I miss it when I play a Strat or Tele. The curved top I like most of the LP and the way the neck is tilting backwards. A Fender is too...huh...flat for me.
