  • This is probably my favorite Elton video-- To Russia with Elton. They should release it on dvd.

  • I hope ELTON will re-release this on a 2DVD

Set.DVD1 should be the movie with seens that

were left out of original video movie.I think

DVD2 should be the complete concert he gave

for the Russia fans in bluecoat, red and pink

    suit and hat.

  • @daven58100 He had stated at the time he was a bisexual, it wasn't until the early 90s he finally admitted to himself he was homosexual

  • Elton is so sweet, amazing :)

  • Interesting what he said about Anita Bryant. Was he out of the closet by that time?

  • I've just hope his captain fantastic concert he did in 1975 will be in stores someday on dvd too.

  • this was such an excellent video! i'm hoping to find some of their concert footage out here. just him and ray cooper on stage was phenomenal!

  • That were the communist times. Now it is,of course, different. They were not use to interview that kind of people like Elton every day,so they were bit amateurs. The artists in Soviet union they didnt have such a freedom like in the western countries, but it was different for example in Czechoslovakia, where situation for artists was a bit better than in USSR,but not as good as in the west!

  • yes! :D they were not use to have that kind of artists like Elton in Russia during the soviet era. Those people had a concert in Russia once a year,if I dont count those "home-artists" who were able to sing only if they claimed their faithfulness to soviet communist party.Diffenet it was for example in Czechoslovakia where artists had more freedom, but not as much as in western countries.
