@CapeWearingSchmuck Thanks for the heads up on this my friend. : )

@jboypacman Not quite accurate, Zipang on the TG-16/PCE is basically a sequel to Solomon's Key. Designed by Tecmo and reprogrammed for the console by Pack-In Video. A prequel to Solomon's Key called Fire 'n Ice was released on the NES. It gets confusing because Fire 'n Ice was called "Solomon's Key 2" in territories outside the US, when in fact it's actually the prequel and Zipang is the sequel.

There is a version of this game on the PC Engine called Zipang that was released by Pack-In Video if am correct it is Solomon's Key but repackaged with a samurai and is some sort of movie tie-in game i think.

Interesting. The music fits the game nicely.

Yeah just got the NES version but I also have the ZX Spectrum version. Both are pretty good.
This is a classic Tecmo title! I played the FC version and could only go up to level 15.. Gamecenter CX's Arino san has beaten all 50 levels in his recent (i think) games challenge!

I don't usually play puzzle games, but I like this one because it has platforming elements to it. I've never played the FC version before.

Do you have the NES version?

lol, what a weird ending. The programmed player was doing a fantastic job only to die in an obvious way, lol.

An anticlimactic ending. :)
