Here's another original song by Holly and Rob, lyrics by Rob, music and singing by Holly. Hope you like it :) I'm sorry I don't have an Irish Accent and I hope I've pronounced Claddagh properly - if not - really sorry. I hope you'll let me off though as I am of Irish descent on both sides of my family. I have never been to Ireland but am really excited as we should be going this summer. I hope to visit Galway and buy my very own Claddagh Ring :)Any ideas from lovely viewers about great places to visit would be brilliant :)Thankyou for watching - comments would be much appreciated. Claddagh Ring

The men of Claddagh village were out upon the sea
Fishing for some food to feed their families
For there were many dangers on the fishing trip
But of these few the greatest, a Spanish pirate ship

The pirates did appear once on that fateful day
They captured all the men, and hurried them away

And sold them to a goldsmith, to spend their lives as slaves

Young Richard was the saddest, for he had left behind
