This is so much better than the NES version, as the car scene doesn't go on forever. And there are no damn stairs you have to go up...

However, the car scene is STILL pointless and NOT necessary imho, and sometimes there are no ghosts...neither on the street nor at a building.

Also the controls for catching the ghosts at a building could be better...

Well, the graphics are decent. Not as good as you are used to by other Activision games for the Atari 2600, but they do their job.

The Ghostbusters theme WILL get on your nerves after a while.

This game is a scarce one to get (rarity rating 4 on AtariAge), so it is your choice whether it is worth to get ... or not.

  • Your poor, didn't even get to the mash-mellow man.

  • @Bromleycafc

Not as poor as your grammar.

By the way, it's not a walkthrough, dumbass.

  • omg please someone tell me how to get out of the shop menu! i cant get back to the city once i go in to select traps and stuff. im loosing my mind!

  • looks simmalar to driving on the ghostbusters game for the dsi

  • AWESOME!

  • The point of the driving sequence is to allow you to vacuum up ghosts, which helps keep the city's PK energy level down. When you cross a ghost on the map, you'll see it while driving.

As for there not being any ghosts at the building, I believe that when you position the symbol in front of the building on the map, you also have to push the stick toward the building to tell the game which one you want to go to. Also, sometimes the ghosts leave.

  • Looks OK but The music sucks. I will review the NES Version just to see how bad it really is.

  • @Highretrogamelord89 You need to buy the big ghost trap and flick a switch at the bottom of the console in order to catch the mashmellow man, you'll thank me if you ever get that far!

  • HEHE, I had this on the Nes, it does look better in this version

  • I loved the C64 and the Master System versions.
