Also, he didn't say anything about his own religion. All he is talking about people's right to think for themselves. He could be an Atheist himself. He is pretty wise too.

Like Roy said, "It turns out God was there after all." which were his last words to the press before leaving the band.

All of his songs sound like a religious person struggling to keep their faith strong. It really is biblical isn't it?

I'm always so intrigued by the incredibly reactionary stance that people have toward art that raises feelings and questions that have to do with religion.

The silence and "abandonment" of God that this song is a namesake for, cuts beneath the cries for "evidence" that we craft and condition (so that God must speak in the terms we have circumscribed).

Khan helps us feel out the human mortality we experience as the story of the Black Halo unfolds. This song=one of my favorite prayers set to music.
