1. Lower your water
2. More plants for female to hide when you let her go
3. Use Indian Almond leaves to make the water dimmer (optional) but i would prefer it bcus bettas love their water darker , look at how thai people breed their bettas , they cover the top with leaves to make it darker.
4. A sponge filter (optional)
5. A water heater , i think you have one already
6. Wait for them bubbles and mate :) good luck .

ideal setup but probably include a cave and a polystyrene cup cut in half with the bottom removed
