St. Patrick's Special - Gianni & Rug Live in Cocnert

During the month of March, every Maltese breed who can claim even the most questionable link to Ireland celebrates St. Patrick`s day. 'Marshall-Pulis Creations have thus returned with yet another innovative event, after their Christmas-eve, Winter Moods concert at Sky. The event will be headlined by international Irish band Saor then by whacky Gianni and Ruig!

One of the most entertaining bands in town is Rug, fronted by the one, the only, the (thankfully) inimitable Gianni! RUG have performed on a number of times at at Live at Luxol gigs basing themselves mainly on entertainment value rather than on musical talent. Well by the sounds of it, Gianni can certainly sing, but many are of the idea that more than a singer, he really is an entertainer. Gianni himself is compared of Fred Astaire because of how he performs while he sings; he moves around, he dances, he kicks and punches the air, he entertains but -- and this is important -- he does it whole-heartedly and doesn't come off as a poseur in any way.
