On Hiatus - Santa Monica (2009)

This was a class project for a digital video class, and we decided to make it fun and feature a local band from Laredo, Texas. Keep in mind that this is my first ever music video... meaning shooting, production, and all around knowledge of the software is at a pretty basic level. Anyway, I'm still proud to be the first person to make a video for On Hiatus.

On Hiatus' style is a mixture of old-school rock, punk, jazz, and blues. They are currently looking to expand thier fan base and perform thier fine tuned show for as many people as possible. They are also currently in the process of recording thier first album which will be out soon, so stay tuned!

On Hiatus has also been recognized as Radio Star Entertainments "Battle of the Bands" WINNER.
First prize was opening up for Skid Row, Dokken, Firehouse, Ratt, and the LA Guns @ the "Margarita Rocks" Festival in Laredo. They've also had the pleasure of playing with National Product, Sleeperstar, Stereoside, Fixer,Great White, Flaw, The Dreaming, and Black Tora.

Great job on the video, I like the cuts and angles. Glad to see someone else taking an interest in bringing some attention to the many musicians that work so hard at what they do.We are gonna have to work together on something someday.
