On the day of the final home game ever at the old Yankee Stadium (9/21/08) we ride between 149 Street & the Grand Concourse to the Stadium at 161 Street & River Avenue. This is sentimental in a way - coming out of the tunnel and seeing the old Stadium for the final time.
kool, this is the route i take to school everyday! =D

They had ceiling fans in the cars in 1923? They should try to put them into the new cars, it would make the ride a lot more comfortable.

I don't know how you cool yourself off in the summer, but most people prefer air conditioning!

Obviously Air Conditioning feels better than the cooling power of a ceiling fan. But what I meant by my comment was that because the air conditioners on subway trains are not perfect (a lot of them probably don't work at all), a ceiling fan may actually be more reliable.

Even so, no ceiling fan can provide the comfort of an AC - not to mention the extra money the TA would have to spend at the vendor. That also begs the question - what happens when both AC and the ceiling fans beak down? Sorry dude, not gonna happen.
