@avq5 i did that too with BA. But that was due to a software error. it hurts!!

I made my dumbest trade this week. Bought 3,000 shares of BAC and instead of entering a "stop loss" order to sell, entered a regular sell limit order, of course, at a lower price (you can see where this is going) well, needless to say, the trade executed instantly at my specified LOWER price even though the current bid was nowhere near it. Of course BAC ended the day up 2.98%

I think my problem is, I don`t know where to find up to date information. I mean, I can`t get to know what`s going on in the world any quicker than most people,and I`m sure I must be hearing the news an hour later than the institutions. So they take my money and laugh.
