EARL PALMER R.I.P.--the greatest drummer that ever lived! Here is some candid video footage of a session I did with Earl a few years ago--what turned out to be his last rock and roll session before he retired. This footage is rough but cool, going through and learning the song "I Might Not Come Home At All." The band features Earl Palmer on drums, Pete Curry on bass, Carl Sonny Leyland on piano, and Ron Dziubla on sax. Video shot by Bobby Horton. We miss you, Earl--the coolest mofo I ever met!
This is super cool. Thanks Deke and Bobby.

Bit of Nappy Brown's Skiddy Woe on there. Nice to hear how Earl Palmer would play it!
