Once upon a time, i could actually see my friends...
Once upon a time, my friends were made of flesh, they had soul and heart
Once upon a time, i could play with my friends get hurt with them feel ashamed with them feel
connected with them..
n0w, my friends are simply letters n numbers
n0w, my friends are pictures on websites
n0w, my friends are e-mails n notifications
n0w, my friends r msn, yahoo, aim, skype, oovoo
true sence of connection has been lost
most of our lives spent in front of a screen, a magical box containing limitless information
giving us access to what we desire with simply a touch of a button
i remember Once upon a time, when it was my bday only my closest friends would remember
n0w, people i've never seen before in my life know it, jst bcz of a notification
am I a number
am I an email
am I nothing more than just a button..
a button away from ur life..
i can be deleted from ur life or
i can be added in it
no need to trully know me
now.. all u do is think u know me..
all u trully learn tho, is a name..
n0w i leave u with this question, is the internet trully connecting us or is it separating us
without us being aware of this change...?
