I remember the first time I heard this song in 1973. I was sitting in the backseat of my sister's Toyota on a rainy night in little town America. This song took me to a different place, it took my blues away.

It's sad that more people know this music from The Simpsons than from it just being good music, but hey, if it got 'the kids' to download the real thing from iTunes instead of the latest bubblegum then...
