electric travel guitar demo

This is my homemade travel guitar.It has magnetic and piezo electric pickups and sounds/plays pretty good! I used a little VOX DA 5 Amp for this demo. Its called willow because of its resemblence to a cricket bat !

This is one of the most awesome projects I have seen. I'd love to make a mando version of this. It could be really really small.

@kc7fys Thankyou,a four string mando would be possible and as you say very small indeed!Maybe ill have a go too,a uke as well,only different strings.

Theres a bass Uke coming soon, active,fretless and solid-a bit like an ashbury but more pleasing on the eye!

this looks like a variation of the "Traveler Guitars". was it a kit, or did you make it all from scratch? Sounds awesome.

@neurocosm Yes,it is inspired by the traveller guitar distributed by fender,but i designed and built it myself together with a 30" scale bass version.Plans are available from my ebay shop-john anthony guitars/plans
