I became a big fan of Ludwig Henderson while watching season one of NBC's hit television show, The Sing-Off. His intricate acappella vocals combined with his Puerto Rican twist is fun and addicting. I am always intrigued while watching him. His zeal for singing and dancing is contagious. Ludwig and I became Facebook friends during this time. He also apparently noticed some of my youtube videos and began to comment on them. We began to correspond back and forth. One thing led to another where we decided we wanted to do a multitrack together. We are both big fans of Take 6, and Claude McKnight is a friend on facebook, so I thought I would ask him if he would like to join us. Initially he said yes, but unfortunately his schedule was so booked between Take 6 concerts, teaching, recording, and being on the 'Just Me' tour with his brother Brian, that it was nearly impossible to fit into his schedule. Claude, you need to relax more on your Harley! I hope to ride with you someday!! Maybe next time, Claude! :)

So with all of that said, I arranged this acappella version of Earth, Wind, & Fire's 'September'. Please keep in mind, I never intended to sing the melody of this song...just sayin' ;) My voice was not made to sing that high and in fact I strained my voice will recording this. There, that's my pre-sell and all the apologizing I am going to do. :)

Also, I want to give a shout out to my buddy, Jean-Baptiste Craipeau (http://www.youtube.com/user/jibcraip). JB is probably the biggest Take 6 fan ever. When I initially found out that Claude was going to sing with Ludwig and I, I went straight to JB and asked if he would like to arrange the middle portion of this song (the Take 6 section). He was excited to do so, and he did a fantastic job! If you haven't done so, please go visit his youtube page. If you like acappella, you will love his page so please subscribe to him! Thank you, JB!

And of course, a special thanks to my now good buddy, Ludwig Henderson (http://www.youtube.com/user/lololud). Ludwig, your zeal for life is an inspiration and can teach many of us a great lesson. I enjoyed talking to you on the phone while bringing in the 2011 New Year and several times since! Thank you for our new friendship, and for many years to come.

With that, I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
