The vocal group Arrival, performing the song "Out Of Desperation" flip side of the 45 rpm single "Let My Life Be Your Love Song" released in February 1971. This was a transitional period for the core lineup of the band. Down to only four of the original seven member group (Frank Collins, Dyan Birch, Paddy McHugh and Tony O'Malley) it was in fact the start of a new band to be called Kokomo.
This excellent single by Arrival was written by Frank Collins and the lead sung by Dyan Birch, who was perhaps one of the best looking young ladies on the music scene. Her gorgeous soulful voice matching her face perfectly.
There are a few bands who have harmonies that are recognizable instantly. Such is the vocal blend of Arrival.
An outstanding group of singers with a gift for merging as one unique instrument.
-*NOTE*- My 45 rpm single of this is 1971 vintage and I've played it thousands of times, so please excuse the hisses and pops from the vinyl.
