ive been using linux ubuntu for the past 3 years and ive become more used to it than i am windows! i like mandrive because it is nearly identical to ubuntu.

Puedes bajarlo (y otros sistemas) en un site brasileño llamado "baixaki". Va en "Linux", despues en "utilidades e segurança", y finalmente en "sistemas operacionais".

The basic version is named "Mandriva One" (ca 700MB). It's a LiveCD, you can test without installing it, you need no knowledge in Linux to use it.
There's other version named "Mandriva Free" (ca 4Gb), which is a version with only free softwares and applications.

witch file did you download? i am not sure why there are few iso files! some at 700mb and others at 4.2gig??!!
witch one is the basic mandirva operating system?
