There are very few people who have the basic insight as to the folly of U.S. and world politics and events. Mark Twain was one, Will Rogers the other. We really need them both today to ease some of the tension and fears of the "Great Recession." Thanks for posting.

This video implies that the video is actual footage from the real Will Rogers from the 20's. That is just not believable.
This is an actor playing Will Rogers.
First of all this is a color video and they did not have color in the 1920. Let alone sound. The first talking movies came out in 1929. Also this was filmed with multiple cameras which was not done in 1920. The info of this video needs to set the record straight.

Sorry you felt this was misleading. I have clarified in the description that I am the actor playing Will Rogers. If you visit my homepage you will see that my intention there is let people know I am acting the part. Perhaps I should make that clearer on each video.

Glad you now know about him. He was as important as Mark Twain in his own way but there is no way to teach him in school in that he can't be categorized as an author and therefore taught as literature. He had 7 books that were compilations of his newspaper columns. He was the biggest movie star and radio personality of his day as well. Thanks for your interest.
