You can make the effect work without glasses. Use side-by-side, with right and left flipped. Use your hands 1 foot away from your face to block half the screen to each eye. Relax your focus until you're seeing 1 image and slowly let your eyes refocus until the image resolves sharply. POOF! Crystal clear 3d using your 2d screen and no glasses!
A-mazing! First time trying with blue-cyan glasses, eyes too a while to adjust and better to stand back from screen in full. Can't wait for 3D drives to start. Note, this doesn't work for ppl whose eyes work independently, ie have a corrected squint!
I recently got some free and cheaply made 3d glasses. While the 3d effect did work, it was very hard on my eyes and tough for me to focus well. It might have been the cheapness of the glasses I got, but I know I could not tolerate the 3d effect for more than a few minutes at a time. I would get a headache. At some point I will invest in better glasses but for the moment I will enjoy 2D
This worked somewhat well for me. I used Red/Blue 3D glasses and some parts showed some form of depth, but most of them didn't work all that well.....The only 3D I've seen that has worked really well, even with prescription glasses is the Real3D from the theatres....
It was a bit fuzzy and had a lot of ghosting--very noticeable witht he elephant's tusks. Maybe with 3-D glasses it would be clearer. Outstanding subject matter!
