GH3 PS2 EXPERT: Red Snake SP glitch?

What... the... heck? This would be the third time I've hit it in a real run.

Update: This only happens every so often on the PS2. To clear things up, the last note of the SP phrase ends on the last red before the orange sustain of the end of the snake. Sometimes you can see when the glitch will happen because the last red note of the phrase won't have the blue ring around it.

the game couldnt handle the red snake fc and passed out so you didnt get sp so it was being shocked

Maybe it only happens on PS2. I'll try Through the Fire and flames on expert and see if it works.

Tilt your controller in to a vertical position to activate star power rather than pressing the button because it's easier.

i know the problem, I have a PS2 and I fced snake in a real run on it, the 26.67 nps is to fast for the game to process so it wont activate the star power, thats what happened to me...

that has happend to me too, but always after that ive missed a note so maybe i missed a note and it just was too slow to stop my note streak at that point.
