  • The tune on the car was very incomplete and I was missing some minor mods that would benefit a big turbo car like Cams. Later on in the cars life we changed some mods around and made 400whp on pump gas on that same turbo. Later I swapped the turbos and built the motor and made 500whp on pump gas, and 700whp on race gas.

The car is now sold and I own a GT-R

  • how much whp?

  • In this video only like 370, but im up to 440 WHP on pump gas now.. Soon going for 500whp on pump gas with a new turbo

  • FYI, factory turbos and after-market turbos all come with thier own "Internal Wastegate." Having an "External Wastegate" is a major plus when dealing with high boost pressure and major cfm's which a gt35 can put out. Having an "External Wastegate" allows for more accurate tunning of the motor, elimaniting high boost spikes and over-boosting of the motor.

  • Also prevents tapering down of boost when a strong spring is used.

  • BOV's are put on cars for a reason.

You do know what happens when you don't have a BOV on a car ay?

You get turbo flutter, where the engine cant "swallow" all the air, making it go back up the pipe and back out the turbo compressor wheel, making it spin backwards. This will cause alot damage in time.

When shifting as there is a compressed charge as the engine can't vent that charge through a BOV when you stick the clutch in the engine will over rev, making shifts longer, and causing damage.
