The panel discussion. Ellen (the American Atheists representative) does a passable job but chokes when asked where her morals come from, instead of answering "emotion, reason and experience" as most atheists would.

Luckily the talk show host opposite her does an excellent job, and their usual religious apologist (of the sort we saw during the last panel) looked positively ignorant in comparison.

  • @SomeGuyCalledJames well said.

  • I hate the misconception that the USA was founded as a christian nation. The founding fathers explicitly promoted secularism.

  • @SomeGuyCalledJames America is not a nation tough

  • atheists are hypocrites? ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL

  • Of course this idiot will stick up for god, hes making thousands of dollars off these "Amuuricans"

  • i punched my labtop trying t hit that asswipe

  • @Gripsock

    I asked for sources.

Every poll I see on atheism demographics suggests it's nowhere near such a percentages. How Glad I would be if it was.

  • @BrutalValor It hasn't, it's been 20% for that time. The whole reason it's growing so fast is because people who were otherwise afraid to come out about their beliefs feel more comfortable now. In the past 40 years, Protestant christians in america have gone down 30%! :D Christianity, or rather religion in general is going out.

  • @Gripsock

    Give me the Source.

I hardly think in 4 years it went from 6% to 20%.

  • @BrutalValor Not at all. That 20% is Atheists, Agnostics and No "affiliation". If you separated all the different forms of christianity then their percentage would drop a lot lower. They put Protestant and Catholics in the same number, they are much more different than Atheists and Agnostics and "No affiliation"s.
