Every poll I see on atheism demographics suggests it's nowhere near such a percentages.How Glad I would be if it was.

@BrutalValor It hasn't, it's been 20% for that time. The whole reason it's growing so fast is because people who were otherwise afraid to come out about their beliefs feel more comfortable now. In the past 40 years, Protestant christians in america have gone down 30%! :D Christianity, or rather religion in general is going out.

@BrutalValor Not at all. That 20% is Atheists, Agnostics and No "affiliation". If you separated all the different forms of christianity then their percentage would drop a lot lower. They put Protestant and Catholics in the same number, they are much more different than Atheists and Agnostics and "No affiliation"s.
