Painting with Demons: Shade

I really enjoyed your video man. Its nice to see someone that cares to explain how things are done. :)

I do have a question for you though. I always had probles getting the cloaks right on my models. Do you care to explain at a certain point how that is done properly?

Thanks for the comments.

I will make sure i cover cloaks in an upcoming video.

One site best explained it. Take a flashlight(or imagine one) and shine the flashlight above the model, and notice where the light hits the cloak. This will give you a good idea where to place your highlights.

Hm,I never tried that to be honest.. and i have a dark angels army which involves alot of cloak/hood/robes painting :S

So you do the highlights with the same process that you explained in your current vids?
