It's still interesting to see the difference between the two cars. People who buy these cars buy them for different reasons.

You know what I prefer on BMW over Mercedes? They still offer manuals. As far as I'm concerned, Audi, BMW and Porsche all offer a manual transmission. Mercedes have terrible flappy paddle automatics you have to click 700 to 1k rpm before red-line. Are you kidding me? Bought an SLK55 AMG, sold it because it was garbage, and bought an M3. Absolutely sublime! That was the last time we ever bought a Merc. Sorry this is random, but I speak of German cars in general.

These drag race vids are so pointless! Drag races all come down to weight, power and reaction times. Putting cars on a track is the only way to see which is best!GT3RS vs M5 at the ring - GT3RS is miles quicker coz it's smaller lighter and handles better evan though it's not as powerful. The M5 is a great - one of the best engines ever (in my opinion) but these two cars are built for different purposes.The GT3RS is bassically a road legal track car and the M5 is a family car with racing engine.

MrPatschn i never go wrong on porsche information ......this is the 3.6 litre which produce 415 HP while the 3.8 litre produce 450 HP check it out ......

DriftSimas this porsche GT3 RS is a 3.6 litre boxer 6....415 break horsepower but the bmw is a 5.0 litre v10 ....507 break horsepower this bmw once was called the fastest sedan in the world but not any more ..... the porsche panamera (turbo s ) is 550 HP now it's the fastest sedan you'll ever drive

@jeremihraiden, I've driven semi's before... I hate em. I miss my clutch pedal. You have your thing, I have my thing... the real difference is the driver, and the driver who knows their car the best will always be the better driver. Faster shifting or no. Take it out of the motorsport application, the driver with the most experience, the one with the most connection to the feel of the drive... they will always be the better driver. Time or no time. Speed is not everything.

@Jr55amg this is a straight....maybe and a pug 205 1.9 could be faster from both in track..
