Met him. Don't need to know him. He does an adequate job of showing everyone the type of guy he really is.

Remember the Steve Tyler incident? "Hey, you're Megadeth!" and Dave says, "Uhhh, no, all four members are Megadeth." Tyler says "No way, you're Megadeth, just like I'm Aerosmith!" And Mustaine labeled him an asshole.

During the MD breakup years, Mustaine came right out and said "I'm Megadeth, I write all the songs, this is my band."

Love his music, he's a major influence for me, but I've met the man in person and he's pretty much like this all the time. Arrogant, condescending, rude and two-faced. Just read his book. Everyone is fair game, yet none of them really mattered.
