rubiks, acutally you're wrong. the term Gullwing-door has it's origin in mercedes' 300 SL from 1952.

why would you put decals and vinyls on a car like that!!! just makes it look ugly! look at the difference between the one with decals and the one without!

Do you honest believe these doors resemble a pair of scissors? No they do not. Doors that open in a scissor like motion are categorized as "scissor door" such as the Lamborghini Lp640. Butterfly doors resemble the form of a butterfly spreading its wings, such as the McLaren F1. You can research this on Wikipedia. I'm sure you'll see the difference between the two.

Why does everyone call "butter fly doors" "Gullwing doors"! Gullwings are like those of the Delorean and new MB SLS AMG. Butter fly doors are those of Ferrari enzo, ssc ultimate,etc.
