To the person who did this video, quite clearly English is not your first language.

well..I see the points.. that video was stupid calling Australian ppl rasist and all, but...still do not see why we shouldn't eat the whales..Japanese whaling is legal, and whales are sustainable. whaling is strictly controlled by WIC and all...why not???whales were something my grandma fed my mom when Japan was a very poor county. although most young ppl does not eat them anymore, a lot has a taste for it, cause that is a taste of home for them. why someone take that away?why whales, not cows?

Japan quitted its international isolation policy because one country asked Japan to be its re-supply port. They came to hunt whales for their oil and clothes and sardines for food. Oil in Japan was 100% from plants, and eating whales were rare then. It was sometime before the fossil oil was found and used.
After WWII, there weren't enough food in Japan, so eating whales was recommended by occupation forces. That was the beginning of modern whaling in Japan.
Study, guys.

I think this shows extreme logic, and only childish people would say this is fair.
However, I think if anti-whale-hunting people accuses some Nordic countries along with Japan, they wouldn't be that mad.
I'm in Japan for a long time, and most of young Japanese persons have never eaten whale meats. However, I see many "I eat you instead of whales, you monkeys" kind of comments in the internet. No wonder why they've got so mad.
It's not Japan who caught too much whales at the first place.

Japanese had not eat beaf or pigs before. They should eat fishs and whales for their protain intake. Per-capita consumption of meat exceeded that of seafood for the first time in 2006. The luck of protain made them small and they always lost football game in WC. Do you want Japanese keep in luck of protain ?
You eat Pig and Japanese eat whale. That all, I think.

・watch?v=Gydea-nUzFw (Dolphin and Whale Massacre in Europe ) ・watch?v=LbRoCFlNfkQ (Most Racist Australian Commercial ) ・ttp://luna.pos.to/whale/sta_1 960.html etc… 自分のことは棚上げしたり、色んな国が捕鯨をしているのに日本及 び日本人にだけ抗議・攻撃をしている。 事実としてこういう言動がある。そういう人達を指して人種差別主 義者だと言ってる。 -
@quarterexchange I'll say it again we'll let the International Court (which Japan does recognise) decide
-
@quarterexchange we shall see what the International Court say about this then because Australia has taken Japan to court on this very matter
-
@quarterexchange they are doing it in Australian waters, legally as they have signed the moratorium they cannot hunt whales for their meat instead instead they can scientifically whale but its blatantly obvious that Japan is flouting the moratorium and is whaling for the purpose of consuming the meat which is illegal.
We would beleive it was tradition if it where on thier own coast.
Traveling all the way to antarctica to kill whales is not tradition, nor is it science!

Yes, they are, so look into your own heart and let's see if you can't learn a thing or two about your own racism.
Multicultural countries face these challenges every day, so you would be a saint if you even came close to people like me, who live amongst people from all countries every day, and have learned to strip away prejudices.
You are festering in your own notions of superiority.
That is why you are here making spurious claims.
