Alan ( Gamekeeper ) and my son Simon go out onto fresh Barley stubble to shoot a few crows. ( Keeps the Farmer Happy ) N.West UK..Carrion Crows show no mercy on the new born Lambs taking out the eyes and tounge.We try to keep the numbers down on our shoot

nice shoot what kind of shells are you using? i use 7an half shot, 2 an 3/4, long range an a 12gauge pump

these birds kill and eat new born Lambs or maybe remove the eye from the mother while she's in labour.So... YES, there VERMIN and need to be controlled.We never hesitate to assist the Farmers while their Lambing is happening. Simple Fact..Lamb would go up so much in price, but behind the scene is people like us..helping control these killers. and ty for your comments.

@spacecowboy95 .. you obviously know nothing about these birds.. they won't just die off, they are scavengers and can eat garbage alone and live for years, and their reproduction rate if very high.. you have to do what you can, you should see here in chatham, ontario.. we are the highest crow pop. in the world, they migrate here every year... they ARE a nuisance and MUST be controlled..LEARN before posting
