People need to understand something about songwriters and musicians. They don't create something for 1 person to sing forever. They make the words and sounds have emotions and become alive, and anything that is alive changes. Glee has introduced the new generation to classic works of art and to interesting interpretations of them. It is a testament to how amazing the original artists are that their work is still touching, even with new voices and new instruments telling their stories.

@twinkyboy17 because in the episode, the song was sung by a deaf choir, and the glee club joined in later.

kay i know a lot of you people thought glee ruined this song but its not true. i love both versions, i love john lennon but i also love glee! deal with it.
