I always hated Lavender Town since I played PKMN Red for the first time.
That made my make this version with FL Studio 9.

Nice attempt. It's pretty, but i'm sorry to say this isn't the slightest bit creepy to me. Then again, that was probably your attempt since the original scared you (Me too, Lavender town was the first thing that forced me to contemplate the cycle of life & death. It wasn't my introduction to the subject, but it was the first time I couldn't just shake it off, it was the first time it really sunk in that death is inescapable)

@RyanKaufman Yeah, I guess a lot of it has to do with mindset. If it's easy for you to stay objective then it's easy to say "It's just a game, no big deal", however I'm the type who likes to immerse myself in games, I like to identify with the characters & play through games as if I were experiencing it in real life. I'm probably going to hate myself here pretty soon, I picked up Fatal Frame because I heard it's one of the scariest games of all time XD

@omgitsaaron I agree, especially if you're 8 years old xD. I remember reading Cubone's data over and over trying to figure out how I read it wrong, then I realized I read it correctly. Me: "IT WEARS IT'S MOTHER'S SKULL!?!?" Also someone told me if a Pokemon reaches level 100 it dies (I guess trying to scare me. Mission complete). I only trained my Charmander so it was a Charizard at like lvl 90 and I was afraid to battle with him. And don't even get me started on MissingNo. :0

@omgitsaaron Texas Chainsaw Massacre has nothing on Cubone. I haven't played Mystery Dungeon, I think I'll give it a try. Weird how this stuff would send me into mental breakdowns as a kid but now I have a sort of fascination with it. It's spiritually strengthening, I guess. Like realizing how much of it's all in your head & it only controls you if you let it.

@125sonicboom Yeah, it's really surprising, you don't expect a game like Pokémon to have content like this. One minute you're thinking "YAY, I'ma gonna catch all these little aminals!", next thing you know you're thinking "HOLY CRAP I DON'T WANNA DIE!!! D: " Hypno & Cubone's pokédex descriptions always bothered me. The Lavender tower was creepy enough because of ".....>:D........Get......out.­...", but cubone made it even worse. Why the HELL would you wear your mother's skull?!
