If you want more information, try "Sensei's Library" or "Interactive way to Go." They are both really great resources that allow a person knew to the game to have a great understanding of it.

Wow. I play chess (quite advanced) but this game is absolutely impressive. I'm new to Go and enjoy it very much. But I think I didn't understand much of this at all...:D

Subbed, wish there were more of these online.

Thanks! This is really interesting. I love go. I don't want to go Pro or anything though, I just play for fun.

@xorandor The same can be said for any language. Chinese is only 1 of many languages where complex concepts are concisely described. Mayan languages and other indigenous languages of Mexico & Central America have vocabularies rich in meaning. I like German because it is can describe in one word a concept that in English might require 2 or 3 words.
All languages are products of the sociocultural experiences of the people that speak them.

@izanam111 Your sarcasm is only barely humorous to the uncivilised masses.

@96515325 I have yet to see anyone die because they don't know 10 languages. 1 international language is a great idea, in fact, i urge animals to learn it as well. It'd be very efficient indeed.
This is really nice, are there any more of these types of commentaries?

This comment has received too many negative votes show
chinese should adopt english as their main language and save us all the trouble...

@gustavonarez Not only would that never happen, it'll be a great loss to the world if that ever occurs. Just in the domain of this game, if you understand both languages, you'll realise that there are many concepts that are much more succinct and apt in Chinese, compared to English.
