Criminy, people, enough with the whining about the drumming.
I am hardly an expert on drumming, but if Elliott Smith chose her to play with him, then she's fine with me.
My argument defeats all others.

@ApeSelf What? Do you know who Bill Bruford is? Loz Colbert? Tony Williams? Brant Bjork? Pete Thomas(who played on Figure 8)? Janet Weiss is average at best.

She's literally playing the drum part exactly as it is on the album. The only difference is the drums sound more live. On the album, the drums almost sound like a loop. It's going to look awkward because you're only playing on-beats. There is absolutely nothing wrong with what she is doing. In fact, it would be pretty impossible to do it better than she is, frankly.
