The video camera is aimed at a display screen, not at the stage, so there's an audio delay there. The backup singers are definitely lip-synching, but I think Al is singing live - the yell around 2:40 is not really the same as the recorded track.

Weird Al's BEST parody. This is better than the music video: it's funny how he imitates the Backstreet Boys and sings it like a love song, even though it's about buying a bunch of crap. He's a great performer. If you liked this, check out "Weird Al-The Saga Begins." If you haven't seen it already.

Weird Al doesn't need to lip sync, he has actual talent. The only reason the backup singers are lip syncing is because he is so good he backs himself up
