  • Oh and I did get GVHD and my skin darken all over my body now I'm taking Prednisone and a cream to clear it up and it is working. But my Whites and Red cell are being affected by this. I have good days and bad. My bones ache sometime, I'm tired and I can't sleep sometimes. Oh and I'm 100% my donor's marrow so that is good news. :)

  • Hi Dr Mesa, I'm a 36 yr old African American Woman with Mylefibrosis. I was diagnoised in November of 2010. The way I found out was through a regular blood exam. My Platelets were 864 thousand and rising. I had 3 bone marrow biopsies and I just had a Stem Cell Transplant on June 15, 2011. What are my chances of recovering from this disease?

  • Dr. Mesa,

what does the sign on the wall behind your head say? T R I?

  • Thank you for sharing the clinic

    John
