Did you know that it takes 15 000 litres of water to produce one kilo meat from an animal who is being feed with grains. 150 litres of water is needed to produce one kilo of grains.

The numbers in the video comes from the FAO, The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations: http://www.fao.org

  • So let's all stop eating meat, eggs and dairy, if we seriously care not only about animal welfare but also about human welfare. If we continue causing suffering to countless innocent and gentle animals, we are effectively sowing the seeds for our own suffering and still greater suffering for future generations. Let's stop this madness while we can!

  • Unfortunately there are still some scientists who deny the correlation between meat and global warming. I honestly don't care which set of scientists are right, I am a vegan and will stay that way. Anyone who is sitting around wondering about GW should stop being that person who thinks there problems even if questionable are going to go away if they do nothing. In other words prepare for the worst and hope for the best. Lazy, selfish bastards. :)
