watching this anime changed my life too. it's very deep, and i've never had to think that much to watch an anime series before. it also made me cry over 5 times thru the entire series

The anime came 1st really I thought that the manga came 1st then they toned it down and made the anime

Quite a few people I knew had trouble believing that the anime came first. I knew it did, btw. I'm a huge fan of Eureka Seven. Learned all I could after seeing a few episodes, then finding the rest here.

the anime came first, although its hard to believe that, there are many anime's that came first than the manga, like blood plus, and malencholy of suzumi

I'll admit, the anime really changed the way I think. The manga, on the other hand, sort of twisted the message that the anime seemed intent on delivering, by overusing violence and swearing, then finishing with a horribly FFX-like ending.
