Kudos to those in the Russian navy. They went through some real tough times after the end of the USSR.

At present, Russia needa all the help they can get just to deal with Chechen terrorists. We got caught by a suicide boat in Aden Harbor but that was peace time and the boat was on stand-down. The Kuznetsov was in cat and trap. That is a war footing, but you weren't anywhere near tight enough to call it a real exercise. We'd have to cover your VSTOL's with A-10 C's and AF-18's just to maintain your safe sea lane. We have to start somewhere, I suppose, but THAT far down? Oh, shit!
