  • @Berkcam He was born catholic but he thought of everyone like he was an Atheist. Equal.

  • Murdoc sends me here !

  • Jacques-Yves Cousteau son have worked with my brother and I have meet him some times.

  • EXCELLENT SHAPE at 20:20 !

  • @PrincessSasi No, J-Y Cousteau was a devout Catholic and remained so all his life.

  • I am sick of hate and war, and killing,

  • @AceLockCo, you're right, i assume it's a bite rough, and that it was a different era. I grew up having great moments watching the amazing documentaries of cousteau on french tv. And i know very well his worth as a ground breaking engineer, scientist, and explorer.

My commentary was a half iconoclastic, half a joke.^^

    cheers

  • @Somartefact It wasn't that he was a scientist that made it ok. The thing was that they really didn't know and understand the impact they made at that point. So although by today's standards this was unacceptable, by the standards of the time what he was doing was fine. He was the pioneer of underwater exploration and marine studies, overall a hugely positive impact on the basis of what we know about the subject today.

  • i used to work in sharm and i can disagree with some of the statements about divers throwing rubbish over the side of the boat onto reefs most rubbish comes from normal holiday makers so what these people are saying about the reef is total rubbish i have seen the reef at middle garden destroyed by buiding work then several years later start regrowing
