I think Porsche built the 911 with EVERY track in mind!
At least a good chunk of the long circuit is public road so maybe another visit is due?
It's certainly on my list of things to do!

no, it's as close as can be from factory specs...

Is the RS modified?
-
Yes, i am selling the 3.2, and bought a 964 RS. the RS is from 92 (like all 964 RSs). It does not have the whale tail wing, but an electric one (same as on the normal 964s)

Wait, you sold the 3.2 and got a 964 RS? What year? Does it have the whale tail wing? These videos are making me itch for a 911.

this car is completely stock, except for its 17" wheels. It was slightly lowered for better handling but that's all. No engine modifications at all. It was supposed to deliver 231 bhp and I think it was not far from it.
I'm planning a trip to Magny Cours next month and hope to have good footage there (i first need to find a way to fix my camera in my new RS...)
glad you enjoyed it
no offense but it seems like ur going rather slow in some areas even on the straits like your getting ready for a race. why is that and how fast do u think ur going?

@wahoowahoo777
well, at the end of the straights i was going at 180 - 200 km/h. It feels much slower on the video, mainly because we are now used to looking at videos taken from formula ones etc... which are so much faster - also, my car is fully stock : the exhaust and gears are street legal and it does take some time to change gears...

The feeling of "I'm actualy driving a Posche around Le Mans!!!" must be immense!

You bet !! Driving under that Dunlop bridge was a special moment the first time i did it. I thought "well, when I'm older and do not have the possibility to drive a Porsche anymore, i could always look back and say "i did it !". Even though it was not the long track but just the Bugatti (so no Hunaudières straight), this track is by far my favorite... It seems to have been designed for Porsches (or is it Porsche who designed the 911 with Le Mans in mind ?)
